How to become a veteran coder or programmer: Steps to follow

Hello there! It's me again today and I am going to share with you how to become a veteran/pro programmer/coder/developer. Humor me. You'd ask me if I am one, smiles. Anyways, I am good at what I know and I am very good at it. Oh, enough of chit chat and paparazzo. Let me delve right in.

I am sure you'd have been seeing some "guys" or "ladies" playing around with some jargon they call code and they still look happy getting errors and fixing them, sometimes you cannot help but wonder in your mind: "Don't you get bored with this?" Well, on the contrary, it is where the fun actually begin. What am I saying in essence? Becoming a Veteran coder is not what you arrive at in a day or overnight. No, it is not done that way. 

What is so special about Veteran coders?

Ha! There! Veteran coders are not any more special than you are (physically), but when it comes to market, they have a higher opportunity at getting jobs than you as a rookie. That been said, you should really up your game! What to do? Don't worry! I got it right here for you.

How to become a veteran coder?

You should know that veteran coders do not just achieve that in a short time. It takes continuous practice and dedication to projects. Giving yourself projects even when it is not for commercial purposes goes a long way in improving your coding style and knowledge. Think of new concepts/approaches to problems. Write different logic to achieve one single aim. Also, pick projects at random: I mean taking on projects that require you to learn a different tech stack from the one you are used to. Say for example, you are a front-end developer, you can try incorporating some back-end into your projects, learn to write some logic for the back-end, and then you can say you are really really moving on. 

Rounding Up

Well, it does not just end there. Keep practising and giving yourself "jobs". Over time, you grow "more proud" of yourself - of what you have become rather than what you were.
