How to increase WhatsApp status limit up to 255 characters

Hello and good morning! In this blog post, I will be sharing with you how to increase the limit of characters you can update as status on WhatsApp Official App. It is essential that your device be Android, optional for it to be rooted — but rooting ensures better functionality as
you'll see later on.

Requirements

In order to get this simple tweak done, you need to get these ready:
  1. Your eyes
  2. Lucky Patcher — you can download it here in case you do not have it
  3. Official WhatsApp application, go to WhatsApp Official website to download it.
When you have these three, you are good to go.
Okay, let's rock!

  1. Open your Lucky Patcher app
  2. Locate the app you want to patch, WhatsApp in this case
  3. Click and hold on the application 
4. Click on Create Modified APK file
5. Click on CustomPatch-applied APK

After clicking that, some options will appear, here you are going to select the last option.
After selecting the last option, the last screen will be displayed where what the Custom Patch will do is written.
All you have to do on this screen is click Apply.
The APK will be patched. After successful patch, Click on Go to file, then click on the app name and select Uninstall and Install (if device is not rooted)

If your device is rooted, you don't have to do that, from the first step, you are not going to click on Create Modified APK, you'll just click on CustomPatch-applied APK.

    It used to be discouraged some tines when am unable to express myself to the fullest via my whatsapp status but with this guide things are done with just a click. Thanks for this post
